A tricycle driver, identified as Kayode was yesterday, crushed to death by a hit and run truck driver in Ibadan, Oyo State.

An eyewitness said the incident occurred at Airport junction, Alakia, Ibadan.

According to the witness, the truck ran over the head of the victim, which led to his death on the spot.

The source said the driver of the truck quickly drove away after hitting the tricycle from the back and also killed a student in his haste to get away.

The source added: “Kayode’s colleagues took his corpse to the nearest Police Station.”
