Key Verse: Romans 12:2,“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (NKJV).

The transformed life is daily becoming more and more Christ-like. The transformed life does not conform to the conduct of the world. It presents his/her body as a living sacrifice unto God. It rejects, whatever, he/she sees in the world that does not agree with the scriptures. The transformed life is a crucified life. It absolutely submits to the ownership and rulership of Jesus Christ.

Apostle Paul said: “I am crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me,” (Galatians 2:20a). Christ lives in you, you live a holy life, a life that is free from sin, a life that is removed from every wickedness and everything that is contrary to the words of God.

The church of Jesus Christ is passing through a lot of problems, today, and one of the worst problems is people sometimes not understanding what it means to be a Christian; a follower of Jesus Christ, a disciple of Jesus Christ and one who knows what it means to give his life to Jesus. If a man is to give his life to Christ, he must have understood what his life outside Christ means — an ungodly life, an evil life, a life full of abomination, a life of sin, a hopeless life, a life in which the person is lost. He is guilty before God every day, he is condemned every day and he is dead in sin every day. He understands all these; he hears the word of God, however, whether in church, through television, by Radio, by the newspaper, by someone witnessing to him or by the Holy Spirit Himself witnessing to him and then decides intelligently to give his life to Christ.

However, you have your options and you look at the options and you may decide, I can continue with the devil or with the world. What do you have in the world? You have adultery and fornication; so, you can continue with them. You love them, they give you joy and satisfaction and because of this, you want to continue with them.

Another person may say, I will continue in the life of uncleanness, all types of uncleanness and lewdness. The other person says I will continue with my idol worship. I will live in the shrine because I belong to a cult and want to remain there. Another person is involved in witchcraft and he says I love my witchcraft. All types of things are going on. What is important is that these things are godless and ungodly lifestyles.

Paul writing to his son, Titus, said, “for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,” (Titus 2:11). In John 1:17, we were told that the law came by Moses, but grace and truth came through our Lord Jesus Christ. This grace of God that brings salvation is instructing you and me to deny ungodliness, every work of ungodliness, thoughts that do not agree with the thoughts of God, thoughts of all wickedness, evil, abomination, pretense and hypocrisy.

The Bible says you should deny them, reject them and have nothing to do with them because the grace of God that brings salvation has come to you.
