It was an ecstatic moment for community leaders, teachers and pupils of Papa Olorunda Community Primary School, Ibafo, Ogun State, as they received a 10-room toilet and washing sanitation from Rotary Club of Gbagada South.

The project, which cost over $35,000, was aimed at promoting hygienic environment for the pupils and teachers.

District 9110 Governor, Remi Bello, while commissioning the project at the weekend, said it was a demonstration of the club’s commitment to better the society.

He extolled the Gbagada Rotary Club for coming up with such a project for the community school.

The club President, Uchenna Okwuego, noted that apart from the toilet, the club renovated a classroom in the school and provided borehole for the community.
