People of Ini Council in Akwa Ibom State have been assured that their status as food basket of the state will be enhanced with improved infrastructure and technology.
The assurance was given by a gubernatorial aspirant, Akan Okon, who was on a consultation visit to the Peoples Democratic Party delegates and stakeholders in the Council.
According to him, his administration will leave no stone unturned towards ensuring that result-oriented leadership is achievable within one year in office, if elected the governor of Akwa Ibom State.
He said: “As a son of Ini Council, I know and understand the plights of the people here, I also feel the pains of the entire council, it’s crystal clear that no other person will be able to salvage this situation as an outsider apart from your son, which is myself.”
