The Minister, who stated this at the unveiling of My Africa Reality TV Show at Havilah Centre, Lagos, applauded the organisers and producers of the talent show for seeking to promote African culture and everything that revolves around it.
“We need this type of show at this time, because it promotes other areas of our economy, creates jobs and also educates people. My ministry has opportunity for entire men of the creative industry, therefore, we are yet to call upon the press to chart the part for development of our creative industry and take a proper look on the mass creation of jobs, the development of skills and major abilities.”
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Vingha Production, Vincent Oyagha, the mission of the outfit is to create outstanding TV programmes that are entertaining, but with strong moral influence that can reach out to families, who have lost the touch with African culture.
