All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates have been urged to identify with only a presidential candidate that will unite the country and tackle challenges facing the country.
An APC chief, Kwalekeme Cletus, who made the call in Asaba, yesterday, commended Nigerians for their resilience in the face of challenges confronting the country, stressing that he was irrevocably committed to building a new Nigeria.
He said if elected as the president, he would introduce a special scheme for the elderly from 70 years old, bring unity to the country and ensure the mandatory National Youths Service scheme from one year to three years to enable graduates of tertiary institutions garnered sufficient experience for self reliance.
He said there was need for his administration to tackle poverty and insecurity through massive employment and empowerment for youths and teeming graduates
He expressed hope for economic recovery of the country, especially from naira devaluation, saying the nation needed to intensify efforts in the area of production and exportation rather than importing goods.
