The citizens of the Republic of Benin residing in Ogun State are set to honour Governor Dapo Abiodun with Père Peucommun (Uncommon Father), the highest award that can be bestowed on anyone with a significant contribution to the group.

In a statement signed by President of the group, Mr. Romain Kakpo, the Beninese residents said they decided to confer the honour on the governor as a result of his administration’s immeasurable and significant contributions to the well-being, security and support for their people in the state.

Kakpo said the award presentation ceremony would hold on May 20, 2022.
