The group said the support for the senator was due to the burden of the deplorable state of governance and its negative resultant effects on the welfare of the good people of Osun state.
The Director General, AASV, Akintayo Orisoga, in a statement, said it has become imperative to, as a political association, endorse a candidate towards the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State that would hold on July 16, 2022.
Orisoga said this has made the group to declare emphatically its endorsement and support for Adeleke, owing to his outstanding and quality representation during his term as Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District as well as his vast business acumen.
The Adeniyi Adediran Support Vanguard is a youth oriented, gender balanced political association with the mandate of promoting good governance virtues and veritable representation of the people in the state and Nigeria at Large.
The group, however, expressed hope that Adeleke’s candidacy and emergence as governor will birth a new Osun.
