Foremost lifestyle entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of Lagos-based Brass&Copper Restaurant, Osazee ‘Bazzzuuu’ Bazuaye, has urged young Nigerians to do everything within their power to get their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Bazzzuuu gave the charge recently during a question and answer session.

The witty businessman was one of the strong celebrity voices during the 2020 #EndSars protests that rocked the southern part of the country, as Nigerian youths took to the streets to voice their disapproval over the extra-judicial killings of citizens by members of the now disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The peaceful demonstrations quickly metamorphosed from the youths demanding police reform into a demand for good governance, employment, provision of amenities, and security, among others. Thugs later infiltrated the protest, which had by then turned into a movement that had gained global recognition, and the once peaceful protests would culminate in the killing of some youths at the Lekki toll plaza.

Bazzzuuu, who is also the founder of the hugely popular Cocoon Lounge, Lagos, which operates from Thursdays to Sundays, as well as Strathaven Boutique Hotel, is lending his voice again to remind the youths to perform their civic duty next year and ensure that politicians who would make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians are elected into office.

“I beg the youths to go all out and be represented by getting their PVC to vote and enter the electoral process like running for offices and political positions,” advised Bazzzuuu, who is one of the popular youth ambassadors in the country doing exploits in business.

Bazzzuuu is also the chief executive of The Council – a bar and restaurant situated in Abuja.

The businessman studied economics at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, before proceeding to the London College of Accounting.

He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Nigeria Bar, Club and Nitelife Association.
