Firm redefines MSME support, builds culture of enterprise in Nigeria

As Nigeria’s economy evolves through digital innovation and youth entrepreneurship, few organisations have quietly made as significant an impact as Wealth Nxtion, which celebrates its fourth anniversary this year.

Founded on the belief that “access, not charity, unlocks potential,” Wealth Nxtion has empowered over 100 micro and small businesses across Nigeria through direct business grants of ₦1–2 million. But more importantly, it has nurtured a new generation of wealth creators individuals who now employ others, build products, and contribute to a sustainable national economy.

According to its Director, Daniel Ogoloma, the initiative was born from frustration with Nigeria’s overreliance on handouts and political patronage.

“Wealth Nxtion was never meant to be a charity. It’s an empowerment engine, a ‘hand up,’ not a handout,” he says.

Over the past four years, the organisation has supported entrepreneurs in sectors ranging from agriculture to creative tech, hospitality to renewable energy. Alumni like OfadaHub, Rabmot Licensing Agency, Gift Boy, PG Deluxe, and Tinnaze Foot have gone on to scale their businesses, hire staff, and attract private investment.

Wealth Nxtion’s upcoming Business Tour 2026 aims to expand its impact to all six geopolitical zones, with new partnerships in the public and private sectors.

“Our goal is to make enterprise aspirational again,” Ogoloma adds. “We want young people to see entrepreneurship not as survival, but as legacy building.”

As Nigeria looks toward inclusive growth, Wealth Nxtion represents a model that merges social impact with business discipline, a small but powerful proof that the country’s next chapter of wealth creation will be written by its people, not merely its policies.
