The Prelate and Supreme Head of Motailatu Organisation Worldwide, His Most Eminence, Baba Aladura, Elder (Dr.) Israel Akinadewo, has enjoined Christians to always cultivate the habit of praising God, despite the lingering hardship in the country. Prophet Akinadewo, who stated this at the church’s Choir Fiesta 2016 with the theme: “God of Perfection,” said praises are used to give thanks to God for what He has done and what He is presently doing and most importantly, for preservation lives.

Quoting Psalm 66:20, Akinadewo, who was represented by General Evangelist, Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide, His Eminence, Elder (Prof.) Joseph Otubu, said praises unto God have been the primary avenue the scripture mandates all Christians to use, in effective appreciation in expectation from Him.
 
He said: “Taking a broader look at the theme of this fiesta, it is important for us Christians to commit our ways unto Him, for He is the builder of our lives, the midwife of our deliveries, the initiator and executor of our plans, and the progenitor of our existence. Without having to take anything away from the preacher, God is being praised today for perfecting every good thing for us.”
