The inauguration took place yesterday amidst a brief ceremony in Ogun with Ajadi issuing the members marching orders.
He reiterated the imperative of an all-out victory in the 2023 elections with the purpose of delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ogun.
Ajadi said the committee could not afford to fail, not only because of the calibre of its membership but also on account of the soaring reception and acceptance of the party by the Ogun people.
“The task before this campaign committee is to think out strategies and work plans towards ensuring an NNPP victory in Ogun State come 2023.
“Our people are desirous of good governance, and we cannot afford to fail them at this time,” he said.
The seven-man committee includes himself as Chairman and the South-west Zonal Secretary of the party, Tunde Oke as Director-General.
Others are the state Chairman of the NNPP, Oginni Olaposi Sunday, who takes charge of the Directorate for Membership Drive; Cami Ezenwa, Director, Media & Publicity; Badmus Kilamuwaye is Director of Campaign Strategy, while Issac Izunya is Director of Funding and Sponsorship/Finance.
Taofeek Kegbegbe heads the secretariat.
Earlier, the meeting had reviewed activities around Ajadi’s quest for the governorship of the gateway state, making sundry observations and charting the way forward.
It will be recalled that Ajadi had been in the race for the vice presidency of the country before he was prevailed upon by the leadership of the party to bid for the governorship slot.
With the news appointments, his campaign activities are expected to take on a new vigor going forward.
At the close of the meeting yesterday, the members pledged to put in their very best, relying on their experiences and expertise to make the Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo quest a success.
