Rotary Club set to provide social amenities, free medical tests, others to Anambra communities

The President, Rotary Club Onitsha Royal, in Anambra State, Flora, Chinyere Mbaeli, has assured that the club would provide social amenities, free medical tests, and school materials, among other items to people in Onitsha North and South councils of the state.

Mbaeli disclosed this, yesterday, during her installation as the 4th President of the chapter, for the 2022-23 service year, held at G.R.A Onitsha, pointing out that the club had earlier given two wheelchairs to two physically challenged persons.

She said no fewer than 200 indigent school children will be clothed, and provided with school bags and sandals, while over 10 communities in Onitsha North and South councils will be provided with water boreholes. Mbaeli added that over 500 people would receive free hepatitis tests.

Mbaeli, a business development consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Synegizer Exclusive Ltd, said their immediate community is Anambra, particularly the Onitsha axis.

“Basic amenities were given to pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers in some maternities, as well as Basic Health Centre, Court Road, Onitsha, as part of our resolve towards achieving projected tasks for the service year.
