House of Reps member-elect promises not to disappoint constituents

He said that his major areas of focus would be sponsorship of meaningful and people-oriented bills, promising to empower, emancipate and improve the lives of the constituents through quality legislation.

Mr Taofeek Adaranijo, House of Representatives member-elect for Agege Federal Constituency of Lagos State, on Wednesday promised his constituents better and qualitative representation when he assumes office.

Adaranijo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that he would attract federal presence to the community.

He said that his major areas of focus would be sponsorship of meaningful and people-oriented bills, promising to empower, emancipate and improve the lives of the constituents through quality legislation.

“Apart from joining my colleagues to legislate for the laws that will make Nigeria better, I will attract federal presence to Agege.

“I am an indigene and I don’t have any other option than to do the best for my community,” he said.

Adaranijo said that he was passionate about improving the standard of living of the people, the overall socio-economic development of the constituency and the state in general.

He promised to always consult with the constituents to find out what their needs and agitation were, in order to address them holistically.

“I will not lose focus in my determination for all round development in Agege.

“I urge the people to remain resolute in their support for good governance and quality representation,” he said.
