We are only left with our imaginations when told stories of how successful businesses began in almost an insignificant manner.
Days of humble beginnings are usually eternally memorable. They were days when reaching stardom looked like the distance between heaven and earth, and even with well-mapped plans, passion and hope remained the drivers.
In a world where not many African women have the courage to be mums, wives, and entrepreneurs at the same time, Anie Ifeoma Amalonye founded Ify Autos, a global company that deals in the importation of brand new and fairly used vehicles.
The Ify Autos CEO had a thing for trading right from her childhood, as she watched and helped her mother with her business while growing up. The most heartwarming thing about Anie Ifeoma Amalonye is that she is doing well in a venture common among males.
Anie Ifeoma Amalonye could have followed a career path rather than being a businesswoman. The resourceful Ify Autos founder bagged her first degree at Ambrose Alli University,, Ekpoma, Edo State, and later got her masters in International Relations and Diplomacy at the same ivory tower , before relocating with her family to Canada.
Speaking on how she started in 2019, Anie Ifeoma Amalonye said: “Ify Autos started as an online car vendor; however, we have a presence in North America and Africa, Canada and Nigeria, respectively.”
It is not surprising that the company’s branch in Nigeria has been on the rise. Ify Autos has been strategic in how it goes about its business. It has metamorphosed into a major automobile dealer in the country with a roll call of clients adding up by the day due to its customer-first strategy.
In narrating how Ify Autos has been able to come to its meteoric rise in Nigeria, the entrepreneur gave credit to the staff working on the ground.
“Getting competent hands back home that share the same core values and visions of Ify Autos which is integrity, resilience, and emphaty. With consistency and a clear vision of what Ify autos represents, I was able to overcome those challenges,” stated the Ify Autos boss.
She might be just three years old as a business owner, but she disclosed that she has learnt a lesson big enough to last her for as long as she wants to remain in business.
“One of the biggest lessons I have learnt as an entrepreneur is that the business environment is very dynamic, so it requires courage; hence, those who are afraid to make mistakes do not venture into business,” the Ify Autos boss opined.
