Managing Director and Franchisee of BoConcept Sub-Saharan, Charlotte Obidairo, said the competition was organised in collaboration with the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN), which offered mentorship, including marketing ideas and business strategies for success as a professional interior designer.
Three talented young designers won some of BoConcept’s iconic furniture and accessories.
The Regional Manager of BoConcept, Grace Kalu said: “Young designers often encounter challenges breaking into the industry as they are yet to make a name for themselves and are still creating their client base.”
She explained that the event sought to create a platform where young interior designers can meet peers and also engage with experienced, successful interior designers who are willing to teach, mentor, encourage and open doors for them.
On the design trends and innovations that BoConcept is excited to offer customers for the rest of this year, the Marketing Manager, Peju Emmanuel, said: “We have just launched the new 2022 collection and are extremely excited about it. It contains a series of brand-new furniture designs and functionalities mirroring the trends of 2022 and the timeless aesthetic of Danish design.”
