According to the Delta Police spokeswoman, Mrs. Celestina Kalu, on April 3 at about 3:00pm, three unknown gunmen kidnapped one Ngadonye Joseph of Okukuokuo, Warri along Ubulu-Uku Road while driving in his Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) marked LEH 975 AA alongside his a year and half old daughter.

Mrs. Kalu explained that the victims were later pushed off from the vehicle when the hoodlums discovered that the victim had no money on him, and drove the vehicle to an unknown destination.

She said that on April 18, operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba, investigating the case with the aid of the tracking unit, tracked and recovered the victim’s vehicle in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State and consequently arrested three suspects.

The spokeswoman gave the names of the suspects as Auwalu Abdullahi, Christopher Joseph, Chibuzor Godwin and Abdul Yusufu.

She said that the police have intensified efforts to track down the principal suspect, one Idah also known as ‘TJ’ who is currently at large.
