Zamfara State governor Bello Matawalle
Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has condoled with the Kaura Namoda Emirate over the demise, on Wednesday, of Ahmed Kaura, the state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

A statement, yesterday, by the Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Dosara, noted that the governor received the news of the politician’s passing with shock.

He said: “Kaura’s passing was monumental, not only to his immediate family, Kaura Namoda Emirate and the PDP but also to the people of Zamfara, especially considering the life well spent by the political guru, who preached peace and harmony wherever he found himself.

“The late PDP chairman, who had been a true democrat and always believed in his political principles and ideology, will always be remembered for his doggedness, integrity and high sense of responsibility.”

The governor, on behalf of his family, government and good people of Zamfara, condoled the Kaura family and prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal peace and the family the fortitude to bear the “irreparable” loss.
