The66tribe steps out with Love Letters

The just-released extended play dubbed, Love Letters, is the first gospel body of work from The66tribe and it is one that was definitely much needed within the African music scene, at this time.

With seven heartfelt tracks, including two guest appearances from DJ Ernesty and Fragile Dogubo, Love Letters is a 6-track gospel EP that explores moments in God’s love, search for one’s true self, heartbreak, and Praise.
Speaking on the project, EL of The66tribe describes it as a “bridge between the secular and gospel world; a safe haven accommodating to all.”

The songs on the tracklist explain the search for God’s love, the exaltation of what his presence represents, and a better enlightened Christian; it settles the conundrum of searching deeper for a better relationship with God through living and growing in the love of God. It also expresses further as “one version of me who’s blind to the intricacies of God’s love and another who’s been hurt and battered from the travails of life.

The project also showcases The66tribe’s command of the fusion genre whilst allowing for the skillful dynamism of Braynezee who produced the musical content on Love Letters to be appreciated.
