N’West pledges to mobilise youth for APC candidates
Supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, have expressed optimism that their principal will win massively in the North.

Deputy spokesperson of APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Hannatu Musawa, told newsmen, yesterday, that the party is confident that Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, will win landslide in the North at the poll.

Musawa, who is also the spokesperson of APC governorship candidate in Katsina State, Dikko Radda, explained that Tinubu will win in the North because of his popularity in that part of the country.

The APC chieftain noted: “Northern voters know Tinubu very well and are eager to vote for him.”

She said some of Tinubu’s engagements that endeared him to the Northerners included always visiting the region and identifying with the people, especially during funerals and traditional festivals.

Also, she recalled that Tinubu upgraded the Arewa House library in Kaduna, which is a centre for research and documentations about the culture and tradition of the people.

According to her, the APC PCC is diligently working to ensure that Tinubu wins massive votes in the region.

On the manifestos of the political parties vying for the Presidency, she admitted that they all presented good blueprints for addressing Nigeria’s challenges, but insisted that APC’s covered issues affecting the country.

SIMILARLY, the North West Zone of APC has declared readiness to galvanise youth support across the zone for Tinubu.

The youth, who converged in Kano for a strategic meeting, maintained that votes for Tinubu and Shettima were mandates that must be delivered in the zone.

Addressing journalists on the meeting, APC Youth Leader, North West, Abdulhamid Muhammad, said youths were convinced that with Tinubu at the helm of affairs, their future is more secure.

Tinubu, Muhammad said, has a track record of building and developing youths across the country; hence their resolve to stand firmly with him and ensure he emerges victorious in the elections.

He said the meeting with youth leaders from across the 44 local councils of Kano was part of networking towards attaining victory for the party in the zone.

Muhammad said: “With people like Tinubu and Shettima, we are assured of the future of our youth. We are making it public that our youth will stand firmly during election period and make sure that our party emerges victorious in all parts of the country.

“This press conference is a reminder to opposition political parties that the youth from the North West have already decided to vote for progressive people and leaders who believe in human development at all stages of life.”
