Nigeria will be great again, Akintola declares

The Founder, Faith Care Christian Ministry International (FCCMI), Pastor Felix Akintola, has given the assurance that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges and become a great nation if the people return back to God.

He gave the assurance during the ministry’s third-year anniversary and Christmas Carol celebration, tagged, “Crowning the year with his goodness and bounty,” at the weekend, in Lagos.

Akintola, who urged Nigerians to move closer to God as a way of regaining all lost glory as a nation for a better economic prospect, said: “Sometime in 1977, God bless this country with lot of resources but we did something which was against God by importing and worshipping other gods and from that point, there have been downward moment for Nigeria economically.

He, however, chronicled some of the landmark successes of the commission to include care for the physical welfare of the needy, widows and elderly, among others.

He therefore, called for more partnership with the commission for the expansion of God’s kingdom as well as contributing to the growth and development of the nation.

SIMILARLY, the Guest Minister, Intercontinental Evangelism Coordinator and Special Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Johnson Kalejaiye, said the glory of Nigeria would be restored and “dry bones will live again.”

Kalejaiye who spoke on “A Divine Meeting,” assured Nigerians of the love of God and better days ahead.

“The time of waiting for God is not a waste. We should not give up hope, the church must not quit following the master.

“There are different type of meetings, political, economical, town meeting and so on but when God wants to bless people, He arranges meeting. So, no one is written off, God can still arrange a divine meeting for a great transformation.”

Kalejaiye, while praying for the nation added: “God loves Nigeria; we are endowed in this nation. Nigeria will be great again and her lost glory will be restored. Dry bones will live again because we are at the threshold of victory.”
