President of African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, has been bereaved of his mother, Mrs. Eunice Adesina.

The matriarch of the Adesina family died on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

An associate of Adesina and media practitioner, Victor Oladokun, confirmed the development, yesterday.

Oladokun wrote on Facebook: “With great sadness, but with gratitude to God for a beautiful life well lived, my deepest condolences go out to my friend and brother, #AkinwumiAdesina; his dear wife, Grace; his brother, Leke; and the Adesina family at the passing of the family’s matriarch, Mrs. Eunice Adesina – a loving mother to so many.

“Rest in peace eternal and in the presence of your Heavenly Father.”
