The state government had alleged that ahead of the December 10 re-run national and state legislative polls, the Police, on Saturday, stormed a Printing press, located at Isiokpo Street D-Line Port Harcourt, where some persons were printing fake result sheets for seven local government areas of the Rivers South-East.
The government claimed police stormed the facility upon a tip off by a concerned Nigerian. It said the printing press is owned by a member of the opposition from Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.

But the police spokesperson, Nnamdi Omoni, told The Guardian that the command is unaware of the claim by the state government.
