Says allies betrayed him, thanks them
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, yesterday, received a heroic welcome as thousands of residents in his home-town of Iperu-Remo in Ikenne Local Council, trooped out to congratulate him over his re-election into office for second term.
Abiodun, who was received at the garage area of the town, attributed his victory in the gubernatorial poll to the Almighty God and the people for standing solidly behind him.
The governor said that the renewal of his mandate was an indication that people appreciated what the administration has been able to achieve in less than four years in office, adding: “It is a call to work even harder for the people.
“I, therefore, use this opportunity to call on all Ogun State people, irrespective of their political affiliations or religion, to rally round me to build this state because it belongs to all of us.”
