An unspecified number of people have sustained various degrees of injuries following an explosion from an explosive device in Taraba State.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening around 9 p.m. at the bar located in the Dorowa area of the state capital.

According to witnesses at the scene, no one was killed, but at least four people suffered minor wounds, and a woman who suffered a serious leg injury is currently receiving treatment at an unnamed hospital.

The state administration and police officials have not made any statements about the event.
