Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state, has promised to reinvigorate the state’s public service structure to be more functional.

He also promised to strengthen the state‘s infrastructural which will help in transforming the state to a greater heights.

“I want to assure the people of Jigawa State that from the governor down to the state and National Assembly members, we will not fail you. You will not regret voting for us as your leaders.

Similarly, we will join hands to work for you because our only goal is Jigawa State. We are assuring you that we will not betray the confidence reposed on us by the state electorates, as we will welcome constructive criticism and positive advices that can help in improving public accountability, social and economic life of the state.

The Governor made the assertion while speaking at a dinner organized in honour of the Senator representing Jigawa Northwest Federal Constituency, Alhaji Babangida Hussaini, by his constituency.

He stated that right from the onset, “we outlined a 12-point agenda blueprint that was published in both Hausa and English and was widely shared among the people. We will implement these developmental ideals and objectives, and I urge every citizen of Jigawa to join hands with us in making this a reality.”

In his speech during the occasion, the Senator representing Jigawa Northwest, Senator Babangida Usain, expressed his happiness over the honour given to him by voting him as a Senator and also organizing the grand occasion in celebrating his election victory.
