
Fahda Romie, born and bred on the island of Jamaica, is a “quasar” dedicated to conveying his journey and experiences via musical art forms. Fahda Romie’s approach combines tough, gritty Jamaican dancehall trap music with American rap/trap styles, UK drill patterns, and afrobeats, establishing his flexibility.
Born Jerome Downes, Fahda Romie grew up in May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica where the hardships that he faced growing forced him to be the creative that he is today. Fahda Romie’s musical journey started with the collaboration with longtime friend Julio who first sent his newly completed instrumental for validation.
Fahda Romie then continued the journey to work with a talented producer in Jamaica, Codelank and together they have created great tracks in various genres.
The youngster had decided to compile some of the tracks for his EP, which he released on December 31st 2020, for celebrating the anniversary of his first satisfactory release, “Recommend” back in December 31, 2019.
The EP has songs like Recommend, Vortex, Quasar Freestyle, Program, Sheikh up di place, Drilling, East Rave.
