The new season is on and grinding, here are the matters arising, the first fight involved two housemates, Alex and CeeC. They’ve been arguing, and there’s no sign of them resolving their issues.

Even “The General” got caught up in the drama. On Day 5, Pere and CeeC had a meeting in the bedroom as she wanted to avoid awkward encounters. Unfortunately, the talk didn’t go well because CeeC dominated the conversation and didn’t let Pere speak his mind.

CeeC was upset that Pere didn’t support her during the fight and felt like “The General” actually fueled their argument instead of trying to calm things down. 

Pere advised her to confront any housemate who made her uncomfortable during the season, but CeeC didn’t pay much attention and chose to stop talking to him until the show ends.

Later, Alex also decided to distance herself from Pere on Day 8 because she thought he was too close to CeeC, and that made her uncomfortable. Pere tried to explain that he didn’t have romantic feelings for CeeC, but Alex disagreed.

Interestingly, most of the other housemates, except Pere himself, think there’s more going on between Pere and CeeC than just friendship. 

They believe they might be forming a strategic alliance or even developing romantic feelings for each other. Venita and Mercy Eke discussed this possibility, but Pere insisted that he had no intention of going down that path.

To clear things up, Pere talked to Cross about his conversation with Alex. Cross had his own theories, suggesting that either Alex likes him or thinks he has feelings for CeeC, which upsets her due to their history in the house. Pere admitted he likes Alex because she’s smart, but he doesn’t see them as being very close.

Cross advised Pere to have another heart-to-heart conversation with Alex to clarify things. The question is, will this discussion make a difference, or will it add more fuel to the fire of their ongoing drama?
