First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his Daura residence in Katsina State. According to a statement by the Senior Adviser on Media to the First Lady, Bukola Kukoyi, Tinubu was accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima.
  
 The visit was to check on the former president and thank him for the fatherly support he gives, Tinubu said.  After the visit, Buhari expressed appreciation, saying the gesture, designed to see how he was settling down to life after public office, is remarkable.
   
“As you can all see, she came to check up on me and see that I am doing okay.” Others in the First Lady’s entourage were the wife of Katsina State governor, Hajia Dikko Radda; wife of the Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Hajia Nasir Daura, and APC women chieftains in the state.
