President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Otunba Dele Oye, has congratulated Nyesom Wike, Festus Keyamo, Badaru Mohammed Abubakar on their ministerial appointments.

While Wike serves as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Keyamo is the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, and Badaru heads the Defence Ministry.

In separate congratulatory messages, Oye described their appointments as well-deserved, urging them to leverage their experiences to grow their various ministries and promote a more united, progressive and prosperous nation.

IN a related development, the Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Gaidam, yesterday, charged staff of the ministry to embrace innovations for a safer environment.

While giving the charge during a meeting with the top management team in Abuja, the former governor of Yobe State stressed the importance of unity, collaboration and cooperation to stem the various challenges facing the nation in the areas of maintaining law and order, security of citizens and upholding of justice.

He said through collective efforts, they could make the police more efficient, professional and accountable to the society.

Gaidam, consequently, sought cooperation in implementing policies and programmes for the police ecosystem.

Also speaking, the Minister of State, Hajia Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, pledged that the two officials would work as a team to improve the welfare of staff and actualise the Renewed Hope agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration for improved economy and security in the country.
