On Tuesday, the picture of Afro pop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, with Super Falcons’ latest sensation, Michelle Alozie, appeared online. When Davido saw the photograph, all he could do was scream. He screamed so loud that Mrs. T4T had to rush from the kitchen (where women are always at when at home anyway. At least, former president Muhammadu Buhari said that women belong to the kitchen and ‘za oza room’). Mrs. T4T asked what happened, so as not to sound stupid, T4T said nothing, actually, but that he saw shocking news online.

Later, when T4T went on Twitter and saw how millions of people reacted to the same photograph, he knew his reaction earlier on was in order. Our own Davido and our own Michelle? Haba! No na! T4T will not be the one to rehash what people told Davido, but he will say his own here and it is actually an appeal.

Dear Davido, you are one of T4T’s favourite artistes. You are good, very good, and T4T prays that you get a Grammy soon, but as per “za oza” room, your notoriety is as popular as your music career. Michelle Alozie has shown she is about the best Super Falcons player this period, what with her spectacular performance at the just concluded female World Cup hosted by New Zealand and Australia. She is 26, that is to say, she can still feature in at least two more World Cups for Nigeria if she maintains this kind of form. So, na beg we dey beg you Davido, as one very wicked person commented on the picture, “nor use belle (whatever that means) take scatter the girl career as e nor dey tay you to fire belle into woman bodi”.

How that fan arrived at that conclusion beats T4T.

But sha, Davido, abeg, free dat Michelle for now, na beg we dey, so again, we(all Michelle fans) join hand to call you three times; Davido, Davido, Davido oooo!
