One word from God into your heart brings answers to all your need. The Bible said: “Where the word of the King is, there is power” (Ecclesiastes 8:4). A word from God delivers a person from whatever the devil might have used to imprison him. The King’s word delivers from prison. In Genesis 41:14, King Pharaoh sent word, and Joseph was released from prison. A word from God brings healing to your health challenges. The Bible said in Psalm 107:20: “He sent His word and healed them.” When God speaks, distance is not a barrier. At the same hour that Jesus spoke the word of healing, the centurion’s servant who was sick at home was healed. No satanic force can resist a word from God.
When faced with life’s threatening situation, all you need is to hear one word from God. It is no contradiction that people who have great faith can also have great personal and spiritual struggles. The Prophet Elijah’s dramatic triumph on Mount Carmel over the worshipers of Baal in 1 Kings 19, led to a direct threat on Elijah’s life. It was the lowest point in his whole career. It was supposed to be the highpoint of his career, having successfully defeated the prophets of baal, but Elijah was greeted with threat of death. He ran for his life, and hid himself in a cave and waited quietly until he heard the sound of a low whisper and the sound of a still voice from God. Then in reverence, he wrapped his face in his cloak and listened as God reassured him that he was not alone, that there were still 7,000 faithful people in Israel.
That still voice of God recharged his faith and renewed his strength and he got going again. God will speak to you and that storm trying to take your life will be over.
The Centurion realised that Jesus has authority just like he speaks to his servants and they obey. He knew that Jesus had authority over all creation. With the same authority that Jesus has, He gave to all believers (Luke 10:19). You can speak to health situations and they will obey you; you can speak to financial cases and they will obey you and you can speak to every situation and confusion will fly away. The Centurion said to Jesus, you don’t need to come to where I am, just speak a word Lord and my servant will be made whole. Jesus said: “I have not seen a faith like this.” Jesus will release a word and your problem will be over.
A word from God takes care of terrible and incurable situation. I was sick some years ago and it was so terrible that I decided to write my will and drop for my family. As prayers were going on, God appeared to me where I was lying down in a doctor’s apparel with a big needle to inject me on the heart. I was afraid and I said no, I don’t want to be injected because I have never seen anyone who was injected on his heart. He tapped Himself on the chest and said to me: “I am a special Doctor.” That means what other doctors cannot do, God can do it and it also means that where doctors said it is over, God begins at that very point. At the moment He injected me on my heart and that was the end of that case till date.
