Passengers injured as two BRT buses collide in Lagos

There was commotion in Ikeja axis of Lagos State, yesterday, when two Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) buses collided at Cement Bus-Stop.

It was gathered that some passengers were injured in the accident.
Officials of Lagos State Transportation Management Agency (LASTMA) were seen at the scene of the accident controlling the traffic caused by the collision.

The cause of the collision was yet to be determined as at press time, while Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, LASTMA, Mr Adebayo Taofiq, could not be reached for comment.

But The Guardian gathered that no death was recorded in the incident.

Recall that a BRT bus recently collided with a train in the same area, leading to deaths and injuries to passengers who were civil servants.
