Birthdays are the highlight of the year, and for Naomi Rashidat Adams, a rising star among Nigerian On-Air Personalities (OAPs) at TMY Digital Media, her 29th birthday was a truly memorable occasion. Naomi Adams, born on October 27, 1994, in Lagos, with roots in Edo State, celebrated her special day with a simple yet stylish photo shoot, taking a moment to reflect on her remarkable journey.
A seasoned professional in her field, Naomi Adams has an impressive track record, having worked with several media organizations across Nigeria. She has been a shining presence on the airwaves for the past six years, making her mark as radio’s ‘golden girl’ at TMY Radio in Lagos.
Before joining TMY, Naomi Adams gained experience with Myradio 101.1 FM Owerri, Real 99.1 FM Aba, and Solid 101.1 FM Enugu. Her dedication to her profession is evident, and she cherishes her role as a trusted voice to her listeners. One of her most unforgettable moments was when a woman called in to confess that she was HIV positive. This heartfelt exchange left a lasting impact on her.
In her own words, being part of TMY Digital Media has been the pinnacle of her career, providing the motivation to aspire to even greater success. She said, “Working with one of the biggest brands in Nigeria (TMY Digital Media) is one of my dreams come true. It has been four years now. Although it’s been challenging, educational, and fun. I manage the total affairs of the company. I still look forward to becoming one of Nigeria’s most prominent brand managers, influencers, and a well-known entrepreneur.”
Naomi Adams, known for her beauty and brains, hails from a polygamous family and is the youngest of seven siblings, including three brothers and four sisters from her mother.
Regarding her academic background, she holds a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). Her educational journey took her through Asmoria Islamic Nursery & Primary School for primary education and P&K International Secondary School for her secondary education. She initially attended Olabisi Onabajo University (OOU) for a year before graduating from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) with a B.Sc. degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
While Naomi Adams is currently single, she shared her criteria for a future partner. She emphasized, “When the time comes for marriage, I want a God-fearing person. He must be supportive, caring, attentive, loving, and, of course, RICH (laughing); that part is so important.”
