Teni revealed that she was diagnosed with the condition in July after experiencing recurring bouts of voice loss. She explained that the disease posed a significant challenge as she was simultaneously working on recording her second album.
Doctors advised Teni to undergo major surgery to address the issue, warning that delaying the procedure could lead to permanent damage to her vocal cords. However, the singer opted to explore alternative treatment options, determined to protect her voice.

In September, Teni was hospitalized due to exhaustion, a consequence of her ongoing battle with the disease. She shared glimpses of her experience in the hospital, simply stating, “Ahh, my eyes have seen.”
Despite the challenges, Teni’s vocal recovery began to show signs of progress in October. After seeking medical aid, she noticed a mild improvement in her voice, offering hope for a full recovery.
The singer expressed her gratitude for the support she received during this difficult time and announced her plans to return to performing music in November. She also revealed that she had completed her second album, which is scheduled for release in November.
