In a post on his official X, Gold wrote, “Men, take care of yourself. Grandma plenty pass grandpa for this world.”

His message quickly gained traction, sparking conversations about the importance of men’s health and the need for them to prioritize their well-being.

Adekunle’s advice aligns with data from the World Health Organization (WHO), which indicates that men have a shorter life expectancy than women globally. A 2019 WHO analysis of global health statistics revealed that the average life expectancy for women worldwide was 73.4 years, while for men it was 69.8 years.

The WHO attributed this difference to several factors, including smoking, alcohol consumption, and a higher prevalence of chronic diseases among men. Additionally, men often seek healthcare services less frequently than women, which can lead to delayed diagnosis and treatment of health problems.
