Tetra Pak, a food and beverage processing and packaging company, has concluded plans to extend its ‘better with carton’ campaign to schools with the aim of preparing young people to create a better world.
The campaign follows the company’s successful engagement with market stakeholders, which had Tetra Pak team visiting markets in Lagos to advocate patronage of carton-based packaging products in the food and beverage market.
The Marketing Manager of the company, Mrs Lara Ikemefuna, said: “With the success of our trade market activations, we are taking another all important step forward to educate and sensitise our younger generation to food safety and environment. Using our ‘Better with carton’ initiative as our launch pad, we are extending the sustainability knowledge to children, who are the hope of the future so that they can start early to know and be engaged on why carton are better in product packaging when compared others.”
The ‘Better with carton’ campaign for schools, according to the company’s Head, Communication, West Africa, Ms Stella Ondimu, is aimed at motivating children to take decisive action to help the environment in a sustainable manner.
