Olamide Adewunmi-Osinaike, known for her creative genius, serves as the Creative Director and Entrepreneur behind Lammy Gold Stitches. With a background in Banking and Finance from The Lagos State University, she has stitched together a remarkable journey in the world of fashion and entrepreneurship.

She started by buying shirts from Lagos Island and selling to corporate customers. She remembers buying female shirts from ‘David Wej’ at the store opposite the Silverbird Galleria and was fortunate to have met Mr Adedayo Eweje, who gave her a good discount because she was reselling. This led her to crafting out shirts, 2pc sets, and diverse designs using African prints.

What began as a trade was soon transformed into a thriving business with customers spanning both home and abroad. In March 2019, Lammy Gold Stitches achieved official recognition as a registered entity with the CAC, marking a significant milestone in its growth.

Olamide’s life journey has been deeply rooted in her home city. From her primary to tertiary education, she has been a proud product of Lagos, a place that continues to influence her creative endeavours.

Olamide’s inspiration for pursuing a career in fashion can be traced back to her childhood. She fondly remembers being captivated by “Video Fashion,” a program on NTA 2 channel 5. This early fascination with fashion ignited a passion that would eventually lead her to establish Lammy Gold Stitches.
