Members of Imo women group, Ehieta Daughters Association (EDA), Umuehieta Avu, in Owerri West local council, have urged government and individuals to assist less privileged families.
They also pledged to support the government in its development stride and expose criminal elements in the society. Speaking during a fundraising event in the community, President of the association, Juliet Ikegbula, said the call was necessary to enable them to play complementary roles in development of the area.
