Ooni of Ife, SON laud LGI for introducing Ecoboost fuel treatment to Nigerian market

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II and the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) have commended Lumière Group International (LGI) for introducing eco-friendly fuel treatment, Ecoboost, to the Nigerian market.

LGI recently launched the fuel additive mixture of naturally occurring proteins and amino acids extracted from green plants in Lagos, as part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Nigeria, especially as the country is heavily dependent on crude oil.

The enzyme fuel treatment additive cleanse and saves fuels and engines as well as reduces polluting gas emissions and pays for itself by reducing fuel consumption.

Recall that in February 2022, Nigeria was filled with adulterated imported fuel from Belgium, which was found to contain methanol at levels far higher than allowed.

This led to fuel scarcity in major cities of the country and a 10-day shortage in national fuel reserve capacity.

Unveiling the product, the Ooni of Ife, who was a special guest of honor, urged Nigerians to purchase the eco-friendly product, which is made of natural enzymes extracted from green plants.

He said the product is for the benefits and betterment of mankind, giving economic values to the country and entire human race, especially with the global call to end carbon emission by 2030.

The Director General, SON, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwunonso, who was represented by the Special Adviser, Folashade Aderoju, affirmed the credibility of the product, saying that it went through the quality analysis procedure before launching into the market.

“I can confirm that Ecoboost has gone through one of our services which is the product registration and there is a procedure in place before we can satisfy or issue a product certificate which I am aware they have gone through,” she said.

Speaking earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of LGI, Gisele Aklobessi, explained that the world today is facing a lot of issues with fuel oxidation and environmental pollution, which is why scientists or researchers developed an active natural enzyme to curb the problem.

She said enzymes increase and control the rate of chemical reactions, noting that Ecoboost uses highly specialised enzymes to improve how petrol, diesel and other fuels burn.

“Ecoboost promised to revolutionised the way we approach environmental sustainability. In a world where the demand for fuel is ever- increasing, the need for sustainable solutions has never been more pressing.

“Our team, driven by a passion for environmental stewardship and technological advancement, has tirelessly worked to bring this fuel additive to Nigeria and the greater part of Africa,” she stated.

She further explained that Ecoboost uses highly specialised enzymes to improve how petrol, diesel and other fuels burn by eliminating the over-consumption caused by contaminants in the tanks as well as the carbon and soot built up in the engines.

The LGI boss further noted that with Ecoboost, fuels users are assured of increase in productivity, reliability and longevity of their vehicles as well as other machinery.

She also added that the treated fuel helps engine of vehicles and machinery to perform at its optimum capacity as Ecoboost improves the quality of fuels, cleans the fuel tank and delivery system of vehicles .

“EcoBoost improves the quality of fuels used in vessels and reduces technical and mechanical damages associated with the use of low-quality fuel,” she added.
