It takes one man to have a vision, but many people to work for its actualisation. Sustainable and human oriented visions are always from God and the pit of hell, using human agents, would always work against it.

Nehemiah had a vision to rebuild the dilapidated city wall of Jerusalem, but attackers came to derail him from carrying out the assignment. In the place of encouragement, opposition came. Nehemiah 4:1-3: “But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. 2: And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, ‘what do these feeble Jews?’ Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they make an end in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish, which are burned? 3: Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stonewall. 4: Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity.”

In obedience to the will of God to carry out the vision, mockery, ridicule and opposition came to stop the project, but God strengthened them; they went on and actualised the project. This is the case of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, the behemoth, which came to life on December 24, 2002 with a congregation of about 2000 people at Odunaike Street, Ilasamaja, Lagos. At its inception, oppositions arose from different quarters, even from the least expected angle. The oppositions were so fierce to the extent that they predicted the church would only exist for three months and fizzle out. When that did not materialise, they shifted to six months, but today, the Lord’s Chosen is standing firmly and celebrating two decades and one year of its successful evangelical prowess. It is vigorously preparing people for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

However, we never prayed to be insulated from challenges arising from distractors because our Lord Jesus Christ whom we are serving suffered the same fate. At the heat of the Jewish opposition of the early disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, tormenting and beating them, imprisoning and killing some, one of the members of the Sanhedrin counselled his fellow leaders on their actions. This is recorded in Acts of Apostles 5:38-40 saying: “And now I say unto you, refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this course or this work be of men, it will come to nought. 39: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. 40: And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.” This counsel was given over 2000 years ago during the early days of opposition of Christianity. Man could not stop the finger of God. The same thing is applicable to the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement. As in the lead scripture above, we are a chosen generation and the people of God. It will not be possible for the opposition of men to stop the work of God. The Lord’s Chosen has three fold visions of: grassroots revival all over the world, revival of Apostolic Christian experiences all over the world, and the revival of heaven consciousness among the body of Christ; this is shortened to heaven at last.

The ministry has the mandate to win 10 billion souls for our Lord Jesus Christ. It is in the pursuit of these visions and mandate that the ministries’ evangelism outlets were established in almost every country across the world. The manifestation of divine healing of all kinds of sicknesses and diseases, afflictions from the devil and breaking of yokes of barrenness, poverty, bondage of the devil through sin and granting salvation to many who were bound by the devil are the proof that the finger of God is on the ministry.

The manifestation of God’s power in the ministry through the ministration of the man of God, the General Overseer, lends credence to the fact that the ministry is from God and whatever God has determined to do must be fulfilled.

Isaiah 43:9-13 says: “Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, it is truth. 10: Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11: I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. 12: I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.13: Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?”

The establishment of the Lord’s Chosen is a divine vision, hence despite oppositions from both the Kingdoms of Darkness and even human beings who feel that the pure Bible messages of the General Overseer threatens their lifestyle, the ministry waxes stronger and stronger. God has used this ministry in diverse ways to touch the lives of many who have continued to testify of how God visited them. This is the only ministry whose members will declare to the armed robbers that they are Chosen and the robbers brandishing AK47 guns would drop them and run away. Some with their bare hands have collected guns from hoodlums. This is God demonstrating His power through the people who serve Him in truth and righteousness.

With the evangelism outlets already established in almost every country of the world and still counting, the Lord’s Chosen is using them to prepare people across the world for rapture.

As the celebration of the 21 years of soul winning gospel all over the world is marked today, the big challenge remains the sustainability of the tempo of the fire of evangelism already ignited. This will enable the ministry establish its presence in every city and country of the world. The will of God is that every human being living must come to the knowledge of Him and also to be saved. We are equally praying for the grace to meet the divine command in Mark 16:15: “And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16: He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

We pray for the continued grace of God to enable every member of the ministry to engage in the preaching the gospel — morning and night, in the buses and in the streets — to ensure the gospel gets to everybody. Heaven is real and hellfire is real too. The effort of the ministry is to convert every man to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour before the rapture of the saints takes place. The ministry is about moving people from one city or country to the other for the purpose of winning souls for the kingdom of God and delivering people from devil’s bondage. Through this means, we shall continue to depopulate the kingdom of darkness and increase the number of people that will make the rapture. As you read this message today, join the ministry in doing the work of God and you will be blessed here on earth and also be with Christ hereafter.
