
A non-governmental organization, Family Care Advocacy Foundation (FACAF) on Tuesday extended support and gifts to orphans, as well as 20 nursing mothers and their newborn babies delivered on Xmas day at the Benin
Central hospital.

Director of Family Care Advocacy Foundation (FACAF), Pastor David Uwoghiren, said the gesture is aimed at providing succor to families, the downtrodden, and hapless children during the yuletide.
Speaking to newsmen during a visit to Benin Central Hospital to present gift items to babies and their mothers, Uwoghiren said the foundation visit is a way of extending the joy of the season to those in the hospital.
Uwoghiren added that it is the foundation’s usual tradition to pay visits to newborn babies, and expectant mothers in hospitals across the state at Yuletide.

He noted that even those in the orphanage are loved and cared for by all adding, “This is the forth edition of this project and it keep getting better by the year and we hope by God grace to continue this great vision that has been assigned to us.
“This year the group reached out to 20 mothers and their babies. Following that the group also visited two orphanage homes in the city. Aid People Change Charity organization and orphanage home located at Obakhawaye Street Benin City and Iwinosa orphanage home also in Benin City.
“Christ is the reason for the season and it’s a season to share that same love that Christ shared to us all. ” Uwoghiren said.

A member of the foundation, Cadmus Atake-Enade, said the foundation is committing to putting smiles on the faces of the orphans noting, ” it’s a season of love and for that reason everyone is important and God cares about everyone that is why we are sharing that same love to everyone.”
Coordinator of the People Aid People Change Home, Mrs. Asia Osagie, appreciated the foundation for the donations to the children and thanked them for always caring and remembering the less privileged in the orphanage, and showing love to all at all times.
The foundation members visited Iwinosa orphanage home and also presented the children at the orphanage with some food items and toiletries to wrap up the years event.
