Oluwadamilola Agbede, the founder and creative director of DAK Brand recently released a set of gorgeous slit dresses appealing to fashion lovers.

Agbede a self-taught fashion designer, whose brand is renowned for its stylish and creative low-budget fashion concept, noted that these dresses exude an air of effortless glamour and confidence.

They have become popular for red carpet events, evening galas, and special occasions, offering a striking, head-turning look.

Stressing that her target clients are females between the ages of 18 and 45, Agbede added: “I couldn’t help but come up with these Slit dress designs for this latest collection. They all still align with DAK Brand’s policy of ‘stylish but affordable’ dress. Wearing a side slit dress is no longer tied to red carpets or glamorous functions.

Undoubtedly, they are the perfect outfit a woman can own and serves for any occasion whether you’re going on a date, a night out with friends or a summer wedding. ”

Speaking about the affordability of DAK Brand’s dresses, she said: “The price of my dresses are quite affordable. However, the eventual price depends on the style and the fabric types that are used. They will all come out elegant.”

The fashion entrepreneur, who studied Accounting at Oduduwa University, traced her interest in designing and sewing bridal wear to the Covid-19 period.

According to her: “People were restricted to movement so there were not too many sales. However, I took time to top up my craft, learning new skills that will be useful for my fashion brand. I took on bridal outfits, learning about laces and their textures, beading and wedding dress patterns. It was such a beautiful experience for me. Post Covid-19, I worked with a bridal brand, putting my new skills into action.”
