Born Azuka Akaeze and going by his recent sonic exploits, Ay-Zed is undoubtedly the Next Big Superstar Nigerian Producer.

In a country brimming with musical talents and world class producers who have global hits under their belt, standing out is no easy feat. In 2024, this is exactly the feat that Ay-Zed has managed to pull off, with two number ones (Twe Twe & Twe Twe Remix) under his belt only two months into the year.

Although, Kizz Daniel’s Twe Twe was released late last year, the song peaked at Number one on New Years Eve and was swiftly followed with a smashing remix with the Grammy nominated Unavailable Crooner ‘Davido’ whose verse initially earned mixed reactions but listeners swiftly caught up as the song immediately peaked at Number one in Nigeria and many other African Countries.

Starting out playing music instruments for the Church in Port Harcourt where he grew up before moving to Lagos and developing his sonic skills, which helped to collaborate and produce hits for top Nigerian artistes like Timaya, Flavour, Ajebo Hustlers, Cynthia Morgan, Kizz Daniel and now Davido.

Ay-Zed’s sonic journey has come a long way and seems to only just be starting with his new peak on the Turntable Top Producers Charts at number five.
