
The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has donated bicycles and other gifts to Down Syndrome children in OPM free school.

The donation was made in commemoration of the World Down Syndrome Day marked March 21 with the theme: ‘End the Stereotypes’.
The day is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting understanding of Down Syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication and social interaction.
Apostle Chinyere, who is Ihie 1 of Ikwuorie Autonomous community during the celebration, distributed bags of rice and other food items with an undisclosed amount of money to each Autistic and Down Syndrome children in OPM free school.
According to him, the donation of bicycles will enable the children to have regular exercise from time to time.
He advocated that the children with special needs should be shown love and care.
Celebrating them and showing them love, he said, makes them feel belonged and happy.
He said despite the cost of taking care of an autistic child, OPM remains committed to supporting them through its free school initiative.
