As it marks 20 years in the profession of raising future leaders, the Children’s International School (CIS), Lekki, has unveiled plans to give back to the community by supporting indigent pupils to access qualitative education.
To achieve this, the school sponsored a charity walk to garner support for the initiative of providing financial support to less-disadvantaged schools in the area.

The principal, Stewart King, restated the school’s commitment to supporting children with quality-driven education that would make them globally competitive.
King said proceeds from the sponsored walk would be used to finance underserved schools, providing them with essential resources and opportunities to enhance the quality of learning for their students.
“We firmly believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and with community support, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most,” he said.
King noted that the school has been supporting less-privileged schools and children since its establishment 20 years ago, adding that those who have been partners with the school remain beneficiaries of the charity.
Apart from its health benefits, King noted that the programme was aimed at impacting children who do not have the opportunity to get quality education.
Assistant Head of Junior School, Caroline Omotosho, said the initiative was an avenue to renew relationships with the community where the school is domiciled.
