Normal daily flight activities are running smoothly at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja as passengers were seen waiting at the lobby to catch their flights.

The Guardian observed heavy military and police presence along the Bill Clinton Drive entrance to the airport.

Some of the military personnel were sighted holding weird sniffer dogs while some were on top of Armoured Personnel Carriers.

The general atmosphere at the airport appeared peaceful, while banks and other commercial activities within the environment were functioning in full.
