Annoor Islamic Centre graduates 61 students in Quranic education

Nigerian parents and guardians have been enjoined to nurture their children in the ways of Allah.

The Chairman of Annoor Islamic Centre, Abuja, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Owodunni, made this call during the 15th Walimatul Qur’an of the centre, where 61 children graduated. He said the only solution to moral decadence in the society is by grooming the future leaders in the Holy Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Also speaking, Head of Annoor Islamic Centre, who doubles as the Vice Principal of Crescent Pearls Leadership Academy, Ustaz Musa Ali, said the learning of Qur’an is a continuous process. He urged the graduating students not to relent in exploring the messages of the Qur’an. He said revelation comes from Allah every second, the moment you learn something new from Qur’an, you have revelation.

In her remark, Director of Crescent Pearls Leadership Academy, Hajia Abiola Owodunni, said the passion to nurture and groom the next generation of Muslim Ummah necessitated the centre’s establishment. She urged patents to consider religion while raising their children in western education.

One of the parents at the ceremony, Alhaji Ajao, noted the necessity to hand over children to Allah, as agents of destruction are everywhere set to mislead innocent children. “A rightly guided child can never be a victim of the devil,” he said.
