Plans have been concluded for the public presentation of the autobiography of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, in Abuja. The book, with the title, “Judging with Justice”, is to be unveiled on the Jurist’s 70th birthday.

The book engaged the narrative of the life and career of Justice Ariwoola. While addressing newsmen on behalf of the organising committee, Olanrewaju Akinsola, said the event is scheduled to take place on August 22, 2024, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Among the dignitaries expected at the occasion was the former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, while Justice Benedict Kanyip is the book reviewer. The event will also have in attendance leading dignitaries from the Bench, the Bar, and the public.

“The autobiography, designed to mark the CJN’s retirement, “is a candid and introspective account of his journey through the ranks of the judiciary, highlighting his experiences, challenges, and triumphs.

“The book offers a rare glimpse into the mind of the judicial icon who has played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s judicial landscape,” Akinsola said. The book, according to the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, who wrote the foreword, is written in flowing prose and simple yet powerful language.
