Nigerian singer, Rema, was recently spotted dining with the players of the Spanish football club Barcelona. Pictures of Rema enjoying a meal with the Barcelona football players were posted on the club’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday.

Some of the players that were captured in the photographs having dinner with Rema were star striker Robert Lewandowski and Brazilian winger Raphinha. Barcelona captioned the post, “A delicious dinner with @heisrema.”

This meetup is the second time Rema will be mingling with the Barcelona squad. Back in 2023, the Calm Down singer visited the team’s training base in Spain, where he posed for photos with players such as Ousmane Dembele, Franck Kessie, Ansu Fati, Jules Kounde, and Alejandro Balde.

Rema’s latest meetup with the Barcelona players comes just two nights after he performed in Miami. He was joined by Wizkid and Fireboy DML. Despite his busy schedule, the 23-year-old artist made time to surprise the football club and enjoy a meal with its high-profile players.

Additionally, Rema has had quite an eventful and impressive 2024 so far. Earlier this year, he was invited to perform at the wedding of the son of Asia’s richest man, Anant Ambani. He reportedly earned a huge sum of $3 million for the performance.

Furthermore, Rema has dropped his highly anticipated album, HE IS, which has been a resounding success. The album has gotten over 61 million streams on Spotify alone and is still topping charts worldwide. Rema’s latest endeavours show that he is truly one of the most sought-after artistes in the Nigerian music industry.
